Rush Limbaugh in Hospital with Chest Pains

This is big news indeed. Rush Limbaugh was hospitalized earlier today for severe chest pains. He is, according to and AP report, resting comfortably and thanks all of his supporters for their thoughts and prayers. Rush was vacationing in Hawaii, as he does every year around Christmas, and was enjoying a game of golf. I couldn’t suss out from the reports whether or not he suffered his chest pains while playing golf or not. The reports just mentioned that he had been seen playing golf earlier. I guess he was feeling fine at that point. It’s not clear whether or not Rush Limbaugh had a heart attack. It usually takes twelve to twenty four hours to detect the rise in the levels of enzymes produced as a result of a heart attack.

Rush Limbaugh is not dead as some people have already been wondering. I hope he is okay because America needs a guy like Rush. He keeps a close eye on all those crooked politicians on Capital Hill. He doesn’t let them get away with anything at all. That God for Rush Limbaugh! He’s just about the only voice in the media that tells it like it is. No politically correct crapola and no bull shit. Everybody loves this guy! The only people that I know of that hate Rush Limbaugh are the super, uber, moonbat liberal nutjobs on TV. Let’s all hope that Rush is okay.

So, what is a Birkin Bag? I will tell you. It is a handbag, made by some famous stylist dude, that costs about 2,500 dollars!! Yeah, how about that. No, I’m not kidding, it’s really just a purse or handbag. Hermes Birkin Bag is a favorite among celebrities, stylists, high-falutin fashion folks and other such people who love to make you feel inferior. Tell me the truth: would you really spend that much money for a handbag even if it is the holy grail of handbags, the Birkin Bag? I think some people just buy stuff like that so they can feel superior to everyone else. Just like those fashion models who wear (it’s not their fault btw) those GAUDY, ugly what-do-you-call-ems. You know what I mean, those models who wear all those super fancy, top of the line outfits made by top fashion designers. That stuff all looks like total crap if you ask me! Don’t get me wrong, I think the Birkin Bags are nice bags. I just wouldn’t spend a couple thousand dollars on one for me or my wife. Check them out yourself.

Saturn cars are at discounted prices, so say the news reports today. Saturn cars were created to compete with the cheaper Japanese cars that were obviously outselling more expensive American made cars. Now you might be able to actually purchase a Saturn, brand new, for the price of a used car. I guess these tough economic times do have their ups as well as their downs. Saturn is sort of the sister company of GM cars and, well, to tell you the truth, I thought they stopped making Saturns a little while ago! I don’t much keep up with cars and what’s selling etc… I wish I liked Saturn cars though, it would be a great time to buy one. Just like a house, if you have the money that is. My advice, if you like Saturn cars, is to search for your nearest Saturn dealer locations and buy one while they are dirt, dirt cheap.

Black Friday Laptop Deals 2009. Why go out in the madness that is black friday if you don’t need to? The internet provides a way for us to shop online and get the black friday deals. Did you know that? Probably not because the big chains and stores aren’t going to broadcast that are they. But thankfully you can find black friday deals online and go shopping from home like I do. Online stores are not owned by people ignorant of the market you know. They know it’s a perfect opportunity to make some extra sales with it being black friday and all. I mean, how could an online store compete on black friday if they didn’t offer the same deals as everyone else? Ebay has a lot of items that go on sale on black friday including laptops. In fact, I noticed that the search term black friday laptop deals 2009 was a main search in google the other day. I think people are becoming more and more aware of the opportunity to shop online even on big sales days like presidents day and black friday. Next year I predict that people will shop even more online and soon black friday will be half and half. Half online shopping and half offline shopping. 2009 may be the last year that people are largely unaware that you can shop on black friday online.

Nasa announced that they have found pretty solid evidence that there’s significant amounts of water on the moon. I’m not exactly sure of the nature of the evidence just yet as this is a breaking story. This will go down in history though if it’s true that there’s water on the moon. 2009 will be a year to be remembered, that’s for sure. Some people have long speculated that there was water on the moon but it was sheer speculation. Some have even tried to say that there was and is life on the moon that the gov’t knows about but wont tell us. That’s all a little too crazy for me but who knows, anything is possible. How did the water get there though? If there is water on the moon then how did it get there? That’s what I want to know. Also, is there any kind of life due to the existence of water? Strange and weird indeed. That’s one for the history books, water on the moon 2009.

Happiness in Marriage is Entirely a Matter of Chance

I’ve read somewhere online today that happiness in marriage is entirely a matter of chance. I don’t think so personally. I’m of the opinion that happiness in marriage is entirely a choice. This stems from my broader view that happiness itself is a choice and therefore happiness in marriage is entirely a matter of choice. The reason I say this is because happiness appears to be an attitude and we have control over our attitudes. Happiness is not something that just falls into our heads when we get lucky. Rather we allow ourselves to feel happy when we think we deserve it. We have certain subconscious notions of when we should feel happy and when those preconditions are met, we allow ourselves to feel happy. So is happiness in marriage is entirely a matter of chance? Entirely not.

I Need a Loan Now

I need a loan now! Can you suggest somewhere I can get a loan right now? This is the question of the day because this is what a friend of mine and me were talking about this morning. He said, “I need a loan now to pay off this and that” and we got into this whole discussion about loans. I’m sure a lot of people in these tough economic times are thinking to themselves, “I need a loan NOW” but is that really the answer?

Getting a loan just ensures that you will stay in debt. I know most people need a loan to buy a house and that’s fine. But getting new loans to bail out your old loans sounds unwise to me. I need a loan now too! I could use some new cash to take care of some things but I wont do it. I am old fashioned in this respect in that I wont purchase anything that I can’t buy cash, except my house that is.

My house is a big enough loan to worry about. I need a loan like a need a hole in my head. I can’t see how some people just keep stacking up their personal debt with egregious irresponsibility. Just don’t get it at all. I know sometimes things happen like if your car up and dies and you need to get a new one fast. Oh well, things happen. But I’m talking more about a lifestyle thing. Wanting to keep up with the jones’s is what I’m talking about.

There are a lot of people saying “I need a loan” right now but it’s probably better for you and everyone else if you just exercise some patience and put in some hard work.
