Billy Powell | Billy Powell Dead | Lynryd Skynyrd

Billy Powell of Lynrd Skynyrd is dead at age 56. He was the keyboardist for the southern rock band and a damn good one too. I dont know why or how he died yet as it’s totally breaking news to the minute. It flashed across the TV (yes, I blog for a living) and went to commercial. I’m writing this post about billy powell death inbetween commercials so I will update later as I learn more. Billy Powell is another rocker to die. As we get older we slowly realize that it’s no longer our parents generation dieing off but ours. Wow, it’s something else and it makes me think. Hats off to Billy Powell for being a really terrific keyboard player that many in the world will surely miss.
