Road to Perdition

The Road to Perdition is a movie on tonight at 1:00 AM. It’s a pretty good movie starring a british actress and some guy, I’m not a huge movie buff. The thing that got me was the name of the movie Road to Perdition. My girlfriend asked me what perdition meant and I really couldn’t define it. I felt a little silly because I usually know definitions pretty well. Perdition is a state of final spiritual emptiness. The end of the end or hell. It’s the loss of the soul -perdition. So that word got me thinking and I went to dictionary dot com and looked it up. Then later I saw that it was the top term for a while on google trends. Looks like everybody was looking it up at the same time! That’s because it was on tv. By the way, road to perdition is a pretty good movie incase you haven’t seen it yet. It’s definitely worth a watch if you are up late at night like me. The road to perdition can be thought of as the road to hell. Kind of like that AC/DC song “Highway to Hell.” That is like the road to perdition. So there ya go kiddies, a word for the day.
