The Palm Pre could be just what Palm needed to compete again with the likes of apple and research in motion. Palm once was one of the pioneers in hand held digital assistants and organizers but fell behind apple as of late. But now the new palm precould save palm. The new palm pre hand held phone was introduced just yesterday, wednesday january 7th 2009 at the consumer electronics show. It is similar to the iphone as it has a touch screen and multiple touch interface that allows you to flick your way through your stuff. That part is just like the iphone. But the new palm phone palm pre has a pull out keyboard. The new palm pre will synchronize itself over the air to your existing contacts and calendars at the main places like yahoo and google and now facebook. Palm pre has the backing of all the developers and they are working to produce programs that can go with it. The new palm phone will run on the sprint network and will come out later this year as the new palm pre.
