David Blaine | David Blaine Street Magic

David Blaine is one crazy dude! He is so creative with his illusions and magic that it truly is amazing. When I was a kid I was fascinated by magic tricks and those magic shows that wuold come on tv every once in a while. Guys like David Copperfield used to blow my mind. Then I got older and became very jaded when it came to magic. I thought it was for kids and the gullable once I grew up. There was too much ‘theater’ in major magic shows and it turned me off. I don’t like the ‘over the top’ kind of show.

David Blaine does street magic which is simply magic that you can perform on the street. Very up close and personal. I love this kind of stuff. I even saw David Blaine play 7 or 9 games of chess at once against a bunch of chess masters and grandmasters. David Blaine came out of that one a big winner and then showed you how he did it, but there was a twist at the end of the trick that was the REAL magic.

I give a tip of the hat to David Blaine for not being a ‘theater’ magician. I like him much better than Chris Angel or whatever his name is. David Blaine does all kinds of up close slight of hand magic tricks right under your nose and it’s truly incredible. He must be the best street magician ever. Hat’s off to David Blaine.
